WHY SUPPORT ART ON THE HILL?

Art on the Hill began as a fundraiser for Brill's village school, which is very much at the heart of its community. Funds raised at our last event enabled us to purchase additional iPads across the school; sound absorption panels to address the acoustic issues in the hall; experiences such as the BMX workshop which, whilst being great fun, also focused on growth mindset and resilience; plus resources to facilitate and create calm areas in each classroom, otherwise known as ‘Relaxation Stations’.

Art on the Hill is also woven into the school's wider curriculum and works in collaboration with teachers and local artists to support the development of art for Brill School pupils.​  Children’s art is displayed in school during the exhibition, making them feel as much like artists as those exhibiting.​
